Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is an actor from Canada, British. best known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the lead role on the Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. Her other notable roles include her leading roles in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered by her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall is an established actress whose portrayal Samantha Jones in the popular TV show Sex & The City was a turning point for her career. The film was not just an instant hit with audiences in her native country however, it led to her becoming a world-renowned superstar. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role is the actress that played La Dolce Vita in the movie comedy drama. It was a critical and commercial hit and was awarded the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Prior to her first acting gig it was her job to be an Swedish model. Then she won the Miss Sweden contest. She moved to the US in the early 1990s, where she began to appear in multiple movies playing minor roles. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was described as a Venusian. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the most promising newcomer category following her appearance in the film Blood Alley.
